ROME, ITALY— LH Foundation Inc. is grateful to share that since August 2024, we have already sent two batches totaling 22 Qualified Beneficiaries under the Norma Liu Religious Formation Program to pursue advanced spiritual formation and further studies in Rome. This is in collaboration with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines Episcopal Commission on Pontificio Collegio Filippino (CBCP-EPCF).

The Norma Liu Religious Formation Program is one of the three key initiatives launched during the celebration of the 60th Founding Anniversary of our holding company, the LH Paragon Group.

This program provides financial support to selected qualified religious scholars during their residency at the Pontificio Collegio Filippino (PCF), where they pursue academic and spiritual formation in various institutions in Rome.

On November 2, 2025, a special Mass was held at the PCF presided over by His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, Honorary Chairman of the Steering and Selection Committee of the Norma Liu Religious Formation Program, and was concelebrated by Steering Committee Members, Fr. Jose Quilongquilong, SJ, and Msgr. Jan Thomas Limchua.

His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle officiates the Thanksgiving Mass held at the Pontificio Collegio Filippino in Rome on November 2, 2025.

The event brought together two batches of beneficiaries from different regions of the Philippines, joined by representatives of LH Foundation, Inc.

In his homily, Cardinal Tagle spoke about the lasting strength of hope, a gift that shines even in the darkest and most challenging moments. He emphasized that hope guides us through difficulties and strengthens the human spirit with courage and resilience.

After the Eucharistic celebration, LH Foundation Inc. President Mr. Edmun H. Liu delivered a heartfelt message, emphasizing how the Founders, despite challenges, chose to give back through simple acts of compassion. These small yet meaningful actions created ripples of change that grew into the program being celebrated today.

LH Foundation Inc. President Mr. Edmun H. Liu expressed his gratitude to all the beneficiaries and offered prayers for the continued success in their studies, as they pursue their calling to be faithful stewards and future leaders of the Church.

Rooted in service and kindness, the program not only uplifts lives and fosters positive, lasting impact, but also inspires a cycle of generosity—encouraging each person to do what they can to help others, so that future generations may continue the legacy of hope.

Following the Mass, guests and members of the PCF community came together for a simple but meaningful lunch, fostering fellowship and shared purpose.
